USE CAST URETHANE PARTS FOR SHORT RUN, PRODUCTION-QUALITY RESULTS
WHAT IS URETHANE CASTING?

The cast urethane parts molding process requires a master pattern (commonly a SLA master) to create a silicone mold (or tool). This mold contains an empty cavity in the shape of the desired part which is filled with a liquid urethane. After the urethane has cured, the mold is opened and the finished part is removed. A perfect copy of the master pattern. This process is repeated until the required amount of parts is created.
Textures can be applied directly to the SLA master to simulate injection-molding finishes and most cast urethane parts can also be painted, plated, pad printed and hot stamped to add finishing cosmetic touches.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
